Incredible India Education Fair (IIEF) is an initiative endorsed by Embassy of India in Indonesia to enhance educational ties between India and Indonesia and also promote Indian Education in Indonesia

The idea of Incredible India Education Fair (IIEF) in Indonesia was initiated by Mr. Ravi Makhija, MBA, Director of TIE UPS International who has worked in the Indonesian Education sector for the past 13 years and has observed the “acute lack of representation” by Indian Universities in Indonesia. Countries like USA, UK, Malaysia, China, Australia and many others have been represented in well-organized regular education events throughout the years, as a result of which, thousands of Indonesian students have traveled to these countries for their tertiary education, while there have been a negligible number of Indonesian students travelling to India for the Indian Education Sector.

Past Indian Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor Leste, H.E. Gurjit Singh supported and endorsed the idea of creating opportunities for the Indian Education Sector in Indonesia which led to the creation of the Incredible India Education Fair 2015 (IIEF 2015) . This support and endorsement has been continued by the current Indian Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor Leste, H.E. Nengcha Lhouvum Mukhopadhaya.

IIEF 2015 was the first of its kind ( Indian Education Fair ) in Indonesia with an objective to enhance educational links between India and Indonesia and also promote India Education in Indonesia.
